A Teacher's Heart. A Coach's Work Ethic.

For nearly two decades, Rodney has taught and coached local students—showing up early, staying late, and helping young people learn discipline, teamwork, and responsibility. He brings that same attitude to city service: listen first, do the homework, and work with others to solve problems.

Rodney's dual role as an educator and councilmember gives him a unique, grounded perspective on how city decisions affect real lives. From safe routes to school and functioning drainage to parks, events, and business vitality—he sees every day how families depend on a well-run city.

As a longtime classroom teacher and coach, Rodney understands that sustainable success comes from preparation, teamwork, and putting the needs of others first. That's exactly the approach he brings to the council chamber.

"My goal has been to help Yukon turn the page and build a culture of integrity and accountability at City Hall." — Rodney Zimmerman
